Faultless heavenly paradise Beautiful place made more beautiful by the wonderful people who look after you. Vin ish in the bar is so attentive and Sheenaz made the villa perfect each day. The spa is superb. The food exquisite (cilantro Indian restaurant possibly the best Indian food I’ve eaten. A young chef of considerable talent). All in all a sanctuary never to be forgotten. Thank you to everyone at Maradiva.

Great resort on Flic en Flac Perfect place to spend a great vacation in the Indian Ocean; Staff is great, must mention Ish, Olivier and Vinay at the beach; the spa team, of course Fiji at the concierge. We were there during Belal cyclon, and felt very safe; they were very professional in every detail; villas were perfectly clean; we took also a great trip with the help of the resort, had a very nice driver and guide. Restaurants have great and diverse choices. Definitely recommend and will go again.
Superb holiday Fantastic 10 day experience, beachfront villa 114 was perfect and we were well looked after by all the staff, especially Babita and the sommelier. We shall definitely return! Everyone was particularly attentive during the cat 4 cyclone and we could not fault the hotel for its management of the scenario.

Mauritian Magical Gem. After a very long day, Flights Dublin, Dubai to amazing Mauritius, then a short drive we arrived at Maradiva Villas, Mauritius. To step out from the car to see amd feel the warm balmy breeze upon our faces was so welcomed. A beautiful team of smiling faces & joys of welcomes, we were shown to a relaxing seat, cold towels given to refresh our faces and hands. Then a delicious tropical welcome drink. To look around and see the cotton flying around on a summers day. To feel the sunshine & heavenly heat. Welcomes by front of house reception we were given information on this magical looking place. The GM Tristan came & introduced himself . We were invited to The Maradiva White Party of the year the following night. We were driven to our Beach Front Luxury Villa. A dream inside. Beautiful soft fittings and furnishings, hand made and uniquely designed. Soft hues for relaxation. The most comfortable bed. Gorgeous Bathroom. Deep bath. His & hers sinks. Separate shower inside, also shower outside. Welcome fruit, chocolates & cookies all handmade here. Our outside dining area amdneating area Gorgeous. Perfect view to the beach and onwards to The Mourne Mountain. Plunge pool for our own use, sunbeds, towels all outside. Stunning gardens and flora, scents & vistas to behold. To sit in Peace relaxing and inhale the fusion of food & to hear the fauna, birds the beautiful cardinals in abundance friendly. Our villa had everything one could ask for. Coffee/ tea maker. Fresh water brought daily by day & night. Turn down night service. Slippers set out for us &more bottled water. Daily around 16:00 fresh slices of baked cake or homemade delicious biscuits were brought our villa. We decided to venture around after freshening up hunger a great sauce and the aromas. We started in the beautiful Beachouse bar. Welcomes with more beautiful smiles. Relaxes. Then onwards to Cassine restaurant gorgeous selection we love fish. The nicest fresh steak Tuna. As days went by we dined on the Beach on 3 evenings. The fare of fresh fish exquisite. The beautiful restaurant Cilantro Indian Cuisine was so divine we dined twice. Ambience, presentation of food and aromas and spices that so were a party for the palate. Haiku Japanese restaurant was an indulgent experience also. Fantastic restaurants, incredible choices. Nothing was to much trouble. Bookings advisable. Fresh varieties of fish daily some serious lobsters & prawns. My favourite part if my stay was Breakfast. The welcome, the warmth from the beautiful team. All so genuinely beautiful from within to out. Gorgeous vista looking oit to the sea. The Spa was amazing. So good we went their 4 times. Why not we were on holidays. Experienced team. Scents of ginger. Very relaxing. To have our daily ritual lying on our beds on the stunning beach. Trees, birds, looking out to the mountains. Passers by. Welcomed each morning by Wesley & colleagues fresh detox drinks brought each day. To walk around the grounds at night was as I describe magical. Flying fruit bats. Swaying palms. Burning scents & glowing candles. The front of house team always around either on foot day & night or via golf buggy. With our house keeping nothing was to big or small. Shenaaz spoiled us daily. Always smiling & so friendly. The bar lounge in the evening was always a must by 5.30. Being on the West Side of Mauritius the Sunsets were spectacular, a beauty to behold. Nature all around, beautiful sounds complete a relaxed day. The lounge bar for pre drinks & after dinner you so could linger. Not just with champagnes & Cocktails but with the team yet again. It is very hard to name everyone. As you all touched our hearts. It was very sad leaving Maradiva Villas as we felt we were leaving our family. But return we so shall. Merci. An amazing place An incredible stay for Christmas week. Magnificent hotel, absolute calm, very clean, impeccable service. The staff are absolutely devoted to customer service and care, with delicacy and savoir-vivre, and the manager is very present and accessible. A true haven of peace to recharge one's batteries, with enough activities on offer to make the most of your stay.

Maradiva was a great place to stay in Mauritius. The staff made the holiday. Maradiva was a great place to stay in Mauritius. Mauritius was lovely overall, with quite a lot to do, but the staff at Maradiva made the stay in the end for us. The hotel has just been refurbished and reopened and there are still some new areas being/still to be opened. It seemed very quiet for most of the stay and even in the peak Christmas week when nearly full to the current capacity (more villas still to open) you could still book last minute/walk into any of the restaurants or along the beach and pick your own quiet spot. There seemed to be 3+ staff to every guest. There is construction of a new hotel (part of the same group) at the end of the complex, but we didn’t even notice it until we walked over to the gym, and we are pretty sensitive when it comes to noise, dust or disruptions. We love snorkeling, and the beach at the hotel wasn’t good for that unfortunately. Before going, we thought that the main Flic en Flac beach was reasonable but didn’t find much – whilee there we were told to try near Sugar Beach / La Pirogue jetty, but this still wasn’t good. We went on a boat trip, snorkeling around Crystal Rock, a nearby reef and Le Morne beach which all had good snorkeling, but quite a strong current at the time. There was a kids club with always someone there, but being such a quiet resort there weren’t many kids, and those that were there didn’t normally go. It may be different once everywhere is back open and it is busier. It was a shame as our daughter normally likes making friends on holiday which also gives us a break. It was fine as a private nanny service when we went out but not for her to make friends and want to be there every day. There are other bigger, busier places if that is important. That said, our daughter still had a lovely time. Everyone there was lovely, so it is hard to stop with the list of names of people who were great but need to shout out a few people. Many of them were friends by the end. Everyone worked really hard, especially over the Christmas period. Not everything went perfectly, which normally came through things being lost in translation, as we don’t speak French. Many of them speak fantastic English, but not all and sometimes it is harder on the phone, but not through lack of trying. Ishvari initially greeted us and showed us around. She looked after us the whole time really well, helping us with all aspects, going above and beyond in all areas and generally being lovely as well as extremely helpful. Kenny was super helpful organizing trips including the trip around the south which was nice and reasonable cost, rum tour, skydiving etc, all of which we would recommend. The other reception and concierge staff were great, including Chetna, Kritika, Lakshana and Sunny. All the food, in every restaurant was amazing. The wine on offer was good, but expensive. Joshan and Favour looked after us especially well and were amazingly nice and helpful, mainly located down at the beach grill restaurant, which was our favourite as had a more relaxed feel, nice views, was on the beach and had a breeze. We looked for them went we went to dinner as were super. Dhanish looked after us exceptionally well as the General Service Manager, normally in the main restaurants. Yogesh, Francesco and Sahul were also great. The breakfast fell down in terms of speed, and we needed to allow a good hour or more to get all the food we ordered, as everything was table service. We did need to ask for things repeatedly as they got forgotten or was very slow and didn’t come together (i.e. toast coming when eggs were cold). After a particularly slow day they took notice and addressed it and changed it to a more buffet style, with freshly cooked eggs etc, which worked much better. The Japanese and Indian restaurants were great, and brilliantly ran by Dihrun. We love sushi and Teppanyaki, and were treated with really good food, including great performance from Nawang at the Teppanyaki. My wife doesn’t like Indian curry, so for me to go and enjoy Cilantro, Dirhun and the chef made a special tailored meal for her. The rooms were really nice, we love the indoor/outdoor showers, private pool with sea view etc. They are modern and were always really clean and well kept. I think the house keeping came in 3+ times a days to refresh the rooms. Barbita ran it all really well for us and was brilliant with us. Shenaaz did a great job for us. The air con could be a bit stronger at times, or the house keeping make sure to keep doors closed to not let the cold air out. Ice was delivered on request and there was a mini bar fridge, although having a fridge/freezer would have made things easy to have nice cool drinks instantly. The Spa was great, with complimentary steam room, sauna etc. The treatments were top notch compared to others we have had elsewhere recently. It was expensive, but I guess spas in nice hotels generally are. The boat house is linked but independent company. We had complimentary waterskiing/wakeboarding everyday at 11 and we did a great boat trip seeing dolphins and snorkeling. We really enjoyed the day out – probably our best day/trip. The dolphins, snorkeling, BBQ food on the Ila Aux Benitiers and Justin selling things on the island were all great. Sanjeev was amazing, and helped our daughter learn to waterski and found us an Eagle Ray. Generally some things that were available, or that could be sorted were not advertised well and you need to ask lots of questions to see all the things that are available or what they can/will do extra as they will always try to help where they can. Overall, we had a great time. Thanks!
