With over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Bertrand’s career spans the UK, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Maldives and Seychelles, having worked for groups such as Constance, The Ritz and Mandarin Oriental.
In conversation with him about his vision for Maradiva, Bertrand emphasized a culture of excellence where team members anticipate needs and exceed expectations. He believes in personalizing guest experiences and providing tailored menus to surprise and delight our guests. His approach to guest relations focuses on building a positive reputation and fostering brand loyalty through memorable experiences.
Bertrand has led successful renovation projects, rebranding efforts and innovative F&B concepts, including ISO 22000 implementation and paperless check-in / check-out systems. Looking to the future, he envisions Maradiva embracing sustainability, technology while prioritizing the well-being of guests and employees alike.
